LIVING IN CHRIST Follow the Lord Jesus!Guidelines for Daily life

"...Not I, but Christ lives in me" Ga1.2:20. 11 Cor.5:17;Eph.4:17-24.

1. DO NOT FAIL TO HAVE DAILY CLOSET PRAYER. Nothing can take its place. Do not hurry, wait for the answers. The early morning hour is best. (Psalm 5:3;Isaiah 40:319;Mark 1:35)

2. NEVER NEGLECT THE BIBLE. Read it daily slowly, thoughtfully, devoutly. Have one of your own. If possible, carry a Testament with you. When you pray you are talking to God. He answers through the written Word, the Holy Spirit, and His promises. Hearken diligently. The reason it is so often said, ''And the Lord spake unto Moses is that Moses listened. Psalm 119 : 9, 11,105, 1309 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Heb. 4:12;1Peter 2:2.

3. READ NOTHING that you would not read in His presence. Would you drop the paper or close the booky if you knew He was looking over your shoulder ? Psalm 119:24;1Tim. 6:20.

4. GO T0 N0 PLACE where you would not invite Him to go with you, and wear nothing that would embarrass you in His personal presence. Prov.7:25; 11 cor.6:14-18; 2Tim. 2:22.

5. PRACTICE NOTHING SECRETLY or openly which is questionable, Shun the appearance all evil. lcor.10:31;Eph.5:1-14;1 John 2:15-17.

6 . WHEN TEMPTED Go to your knees . Resist the devil; draw nigh to God . God will come and the devil will go . lcor . 10 : 13; Eph .6 : 10-18 ; James 4 :7 .8 .

7.NEVER LET profane or obscene language fall upon your ears unrebuked. Never tolerate an indelicate Joke. Eph. 4:25-32;1 Peter 2:1.

8. STRIKE THE WORD "COMPROMISE" from your vocabulary. Do not hesitate to make war on all forms of sin and the devil. Give out a tract;make an opportunity to speak to a soul about Jesus. Matthew 28:18 - 20; 11 cor.10:3-5: Eph 5:15-20.

9. DO NOT TRUST your feelings when they contradict the written Word. If you have committed no willful sin, do not accept feelings of condemnation. John 3:18;Rom. 8:1-2; Gal.5:1.

10. LOOK NOT AT SURROUNDINGS, but ''look to Jesus''. Do not dwell on the faults of others. Do not criticize, grumble or despond. Your furnace is an opportunity to demonstrate that pure gold will not burn. Mat.7:1;1 cor.10:10; Heb.12:1;1 Peter 1:7.

11. BE YOURSELF, frank, open, honest, transparent. Turn from the companionship of those who would mar your progress in holy things. lcor. 15:33;Eph.4:27; col. 3:8.

12. RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST, HONOR HIM, CONSULT HIM, RECOGNIZE HIM AS A PERSON; WITH AN UNFALTERING FAITH FOLLOW HIS COUNSEL AND WALK IN HIS COMFORTS. John.14:26,16:13;IThess5:14-24;1Pet.2:21.

''To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great Joy, to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and for evermore ! Amen ! (Jude 24-25).
