May be you don't know God but God knows
you.
May be God is not important to you but you are important to God.
May be you don't love God but God loves you.
Perhaps to you God has no purpose but God has a purpose for you.
You are not master of your life and destiny - God is.
You see, God is there whether you believe in Him or not.
He is not a figment of someone's imagination or a product of wishful
thinking.
He did not suddenly start existing just because someone started believing
in Him.
Sure, there have been lots of 'gods'
in human history that have found a place in various religions because
they popped up out of man's fertile imagination. But the real, true
and absolute God who is there is so different and opposite to man's
ideas that He could not possibly have come from the mind of man.The
entire history of our universe is just a fleeting second in the
mind of God.
The true God of the Bible is so different in character from man
that to claim that He came from man's imagination is to be very
ignorant about the nature of God and the nature of Man. Just as
to claim that a computer was designed by a monkey shows ignorance
of both computers and monkeys.
We did not create God — God created
us. It is humbling to discover that there is One far greater than
us, who made us. But it is not degrading like believing that
our ancestors were animals that crawled out of the slime to evolve
into man.The fact that God created man not only makes man subservient
to his Divine Master but also gives man dignity. May be you don’t
like the idea of man being a servant but it is true. No person is
free.
Everyone is servant of something. Try
not to be angry, selfish, and proud or whatever happens to be your
moral weakness for a few days and you will see what is meant by
being a servant or having to do things you cant seem to help.
If we have to be servants we should at least
try to seek the best master to serve. Sin is a hard master and will
eventually destroy us.
Submitting to God will give us peace, purpose
and eternallife.God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross
of Calvary to take the punishment for our sins and thus open the way
for us to return to our rightful Master-a loving God, who does
not want to exploit us but share His life and joy with all those who
accept and believe in Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
Will you not change your mind and trust
Him for salvation from your sins and to receive eternal life today
and now?
Look at some of the promises of God in the Bible, His word, for
you: -
*Come unto Me, all you who are weary and
burdened and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28.
*That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is
Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved. Rom.10:9-10.
*If we confess our sins. He is faithful
and righteous and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all
unrighteousness." 1John1: 9.
*For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord."Rom.6: 23.
*Behold, now is the time of God’s favor,
now is the day of salvation." 2Corinthians 6: 2.
*Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is
a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" 2Corinthians
5:17.
