Crowning Qualities of Womanhood ( Proverbs 31: 10).

A. Spiritual:

1. A devotional spirit (Piety): 1Sam. 1:15; Esther 4:16. Prayerful. Pouring out before God.Through the power of prayer women in ancient times accomplished mighty things. e.g. Hannah & Esther & Lydia in Acts 16:14.

B. Physical:

2. Modesty: Esther 1: 11. Queen Vashti did nt make a show of her beauty/ body before the partying men.

1Tim. 2:9-10 women need tobe godly. 1Peter 2:12.

1Peter 3:1-2 they have to be submissive to their husbands in fear. The importanc of the inner beauty.

C. Social:

3. Liberality: being sacrifical, open-handed. Ex.35:25- they gave for the work of the house of God.

Prov. 31:20- help poor and needy.

Lk. 8:2-3- ministered to the Lord out of their subtance.

John 12:3- anointing the Lord (worship).

Acts 9: 39- Dorcas stitched clothes for the widows.

D. Mental:

4. Wisdom & Virtue: (Good character):

Prov. 12:4; 14:1; 31:10; 31:30.

"Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised." Proverbs 31: 30.
